I built Uplifting Publications around a direction more than a destination: UP. Not a promise that things go well, or a demand to feel good about them when they don't. Some days, looking up honestly reveals possibility. Other days it reveals what needs to be accepted, repaired, or simply carried a little further before it makes sense.

I wanted a place that could hold difficulty and uncertainty as easily as it holds momentum, without losing sight of which direction we're trying to go.

Free Wheel: Of Course is the work tied to this particular invitation. It's one expression of that direction, not the whole of it.

You can question what you find here, agree with it, set parts of it aside, or respond to it however you actually respond. There's no right way through this. Something can stay exactly as it is and still reach.
